When I started Kachcha Aam, I had a simple wish — to make homes feel a little more colorful, warm and happy. 🌈 But I also wanted to build something that meant more than just beautiful things.
Every Kachcha Aam piece is made in small batches, by hand of local women artisans. Each one carries a little bit of their time, skill and hard work. I hope you can feel that when it reaches your home.
We’ve consciously chosen to keep things simple. You may not receive an ultra-luxurious, heavily packaged box from us — because I’d rather put that thought, time & money into better fabrics & beautiful details. I want Kachcha Aam to feel personal, not just premium.
Because everything is handmade and made in small quantities, dispatch may sometimes take a little longer & Colours can vary batch to batch - this is little reminder that something was made by hand.
If you’re looking for something for tomorrow, we may not always be the right choice. We’d rather make things slowly, neatly and with care than rush just to grow faster.
